What is Trenchless Pipe Lining?
You may have heard trenchless sewer lining or no dig repairs, but what does that mean? Trenchless, no dig, and lining all refer to CIPP or Cure In Place Pipe. This is a process that involves a host material which is the felt or fiberglass liner for an ecopoxy or vinyl resin.
Usually, the liner is impregnated with resin and then pushed, pulled, or inverted into place. Once it is in the host pipe, the resin is then cured which creates a new pipe inside of the old pipe.
Why is this a better method? Installing a liner can save hard surfaces, landscapes, and other types of restoration or disturbance. Usually, these installations can be made with just one access point such as a cleanout or tee. If an access point is not available, one must be made in order to install the liner. This usually takes place at the house trap of the building.
At N. Constant Excavation & Plumbing, our installers are qualified by both WRT and Hammerhead Trenchless on all products that we install. This allows us to provide you with a 5-year warranty and also a 50-year expected lifespan of the product.
It is critical to get the proper help to repair or replace the sewer lines as soon as possible to avoid damage. Make sure to hire us right away for on-time and efficient solutions.
